Springtime brings balmy weather, new leaves and buds on trees...and crowds of managers, board members, condo and HOA residents, building owners, and multifamily service providers of all stripes to The Cooperator Expo New Jersey! The largest trade event of its kind in the region drew thousands of visitors to the Meadowlands Exposition Center on May 15, eager to take full advantage of the roster of educational seminars, hundreds of exhibitors, free advice booths, and one-on-one interactions with colleagues and peers.
According to Yale Robbins, President of Yale Robbins Inc., host of the Expo, and publisher of The New Jersey Cooperator: “We launched The New Jersey Expo years ago as a resource for both the service and consumer sides of the condo, HOA and apartment building community. The show has been a must-attend event ever since, and it’s a testament to how much people care about their buildings and associations that they take time out of their day to come learn how to make their communities even better.”
Henry Robbins, YR Inc.’s Vice President and Director of Sales, agreed and added that The Cooperator Expo New Jersey “is in a class of its own. Whether you’re in operations, supplies, administrative support, legal services, or management, the Expo is a golden opportunity to get in front of potential clients.”
While some Expo attendees arrived prepared to take notes on the educational seminars—which ranged from crash courses on conflict resolution to minimizing risk and liability exposures--others took advantage of having more than 300 vendors in one place to field questions, demonstrate new products, and share their expertise. Raffles, door prizes, and other goodies were given away throughout the day. And by the time the doors closed at 4:00 p.m., the consensus was that it had been yet another successful Expo.
